■ヴァーチャル美術館・展覧会のご案内
K・MoPAの基本理念の第一は、「生命（いのち）あるものへの共感」です。私たちは、写真をとおしてすべての生命を慈しむことに思いを馳せ、写真家が作品に込めた生命の息吹を、一人でも多くの方に感じていただきたいと考えています。そこでこのような状況下で、私たち美術館に何ができるのかを考え、ＳＮＳを通じて写真の世界に触れ、楽しんでいただけるよう、ホームページにいくつかの企画をご用意いたしました。
1．開催予定の「2019年度ヤング・ポートフォリオ展」の全作品を「ＹＰデータベース」で公開

2．「2019年度ヤング・ポートフォリオ展」の展示風景を「動画のページ」で公開
残念ながら、現在みなさまには美術館に足を運んでいただけませんが、その雰囲気を感じていただきたいと思い、展示風景を3本の動画にまとめました。同時に、過去に制作したさまざまな動画もアップいたしました。
一日も早く世界がこの危機を脱却する日を祈り、みなさまへのご案内とさせていただきます。
■「2020年度ヤング・ポートフォリオ」応募について
- 日本国内と、国際郵便が可能な国に在住する作家は、内外の輸送が大幅に遅延することが予想されるため、写真作品の応募期間を延長しました。
今回の特別措置 → 4月15日～5月31日（2週間の延長）
- 国際郵便が停止されている126の国と地域に在住する作家は、輸送が不可能なため、データによる応募を受付けるようにシステムを構築しました。
データ応募の受付期間 → 5月1日～5月15日

A Message From the Director of the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts and an Explanation of the Measures Taken to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
With the whole world facing the threat of COVID-19 we would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt sympathy to the victims and offer our deepest condolences to their families. We would also like to wish those who are currently struggling against the disease our hopes for a rapid recovery and furthermore, to express our sincere gratitude and respect to all those in the medical profession who are devoting themselves, night and day, to the struggle against this pandemic.
I hope that everybody will refrain from making unnecessary trips outdoors and do what they can to avoid infection, not only for their own sake but also for the sake of society and future.
The Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts (KMoPA) will remain closed until further notice.
• Information Regarding the Virtual Museum/Exhibition
The first guiding principle of the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts is ‘Affirmation of Life.’ We want to empathize with all life through photographs, and hope that as many people as possible are able to experience the life that a photographer instills into their work. In the present situation we asked ourselves what the museum could do for the people and we decided to carry out various events on our website to allow everybody to come into contact with and enjoy the world of photography through social media.
1. Exhibit of all the works from the upcoming ‘2019 Young Portfolio Exhibition’ on the ‘YP Database.’

The pubic will be able to access a database of all the works in the (forthcoming) exhibition. We hope that through it, you will be able to experience the enthusiasm of young photographers from around the world.
The above address also allows access to all the works selected for the Young Portfolio since the museum was first established 25 years ago.
It presents works by young people from around the world over the last quarter century, offering a glimpse of the changing times, the variety of different cultures that exist and the individuality of the photographers.
2. The ‘Video Page’ showing the ‘‘2019 Young Portfolio Exhibition’

Sadly it is not currently possible for people to visit the museum in person so we have captured a view of the YP exhibition in three videos to allow people to experience the atmosphere of the event. In addition, various other videos produced in the past are also available for viewing.

• Regarding Submissions for the ‘2020 Young Portfolio’
1. For people living in Japan and in countries where international postal services are still available: As it is still possible that mail deliveries could suffer long delays, the final date for entries from these countries has been extended.
Special measure for this year only — Entry deadline to be extended from April 15 to May 31 (6-week extension)
2. For people living in the 126 countries and regions where international postal services have been suspended: Facilities have been established to permit data submissions.
Period for data submissions: May 1 – May 15.
